Already since the start of the first season of the championship of WoW Classic there is the buff The adventure awaits you. The aim of the aura is to get you to level 60 faster. The reason: The season is supposed to reach the final content phase with Naxxramas much faster than it was the case in the normal WoW Classic. However, in order for you to get something out of it, you need to get to the endgame faster. Now the Blizzard developers have expanded exactly this buff another time.

More experience AND more gold

This week there was another hotfix for The Adventure Awaits You. The aura now also provides you with a gold bonus of 100 percent if you complete quests before the maximum level. This bonus does not apply to repeatable quests or level 60 characters. And why did the developers make this adjustment? Well, because players are now racing through the leveling stage so fast that they can't even buy their new skill ranks with just the quest rewards.

WoW Classic: Official Patch Notes from February 16, 2022

Season of Mastery

  • The Adventure Awaits aura benefitting all Season of Mastery players below level 60 now also grants +100% bonus gold from quest rewards.
    • Developers' note: This does not apply to repeatable quests, nor does it apply to level 60 players, as they don't have the aura. This is intended to match the recent increase to +100% XP granted by the aura, so that leveling players do not feel unable to purchase their most important spells.
