WoW Patch 9.2: SPOILER - This character will be the new judge of the Shadowlands

After fighting our way through the Maw, we stood before the Judge of the Shadowlands in WoW after a short time. The entire realms of the Shadowlands were upset, because the judge no longer fulfilled her task. Something has paralyzed her.

Yet she is this mysterious powerful being who alone decides which soul goes to which realm of the Shadowlands. Through datamining for WoW 9.2, we now know who will replace the judge at the end of the expansion and take her place instead.

Who will be the new judge of the Shadowlands? Spoiler ahead

If you've read the headline and made it this far, you're probably aware that you're in for a spoiler about WoW lore in patch 9.2. As several dataminers like MrGM have found out, it will be none other than Pelagos

In our adventures in the Shadowlands, it was the initially doubtful Kyrian who introduces us to the realm of the Shadowlands in Bastion and shows us that something is wrong with the Apparatus of Death and what makes the Kyrians tick. As the expansion progresses, he is rewarded more and more for his bravery and rises in the ranks of the angelic beings from Bastion.

The character ID or name found in the game files also proves that Pelagos becomes the new Arbiter . From the voice lines (see tweet above), it appears that Pelagos makes this choice voluntarily, but our heroes must first take out the dungeon master. You can hear conversations between Kleia and Pelagos as well as quest voice lines with our character.
